MatchWorks grows significantly

Geelong-based employment services provider MatchWorks is excited to announce its expansion of services, after being awarded an additional five sites as part ofthe Federal Governments Job Services Australia open tender process.
MatchWorks is a division of Karingal, a community service organisation that has been dedicated to improving the lives of those with a disability or disadvantage for over 55 years in Geelong.
From July 1, 2009 MatchWorks will have a total 19 sites throughout Victoria, which reflects a 45% growth for the organisation. Currently it has 13 sites.
MatchWorks is also expected to appoint about 50 new staff to these new sites.
The new sites will be based at Melton, Colac, Preston, Epping, Bendigo and Warrnambool. Current sites are in Geelong, East Geelong, Torquay, Corio, St Albans, Sunshine, Footscray, Moonee Ponds, Werribee, Bacchus Marsh, Broadmeadows, Brunswick and Airport West.
MatchWorks will also provide an outreach service to residents in the Golden Plains shire, based in Bannockburn.
“MatchWorks is excited about providing services to people looking for work in Victoria,” said Michael Wasley, MatchWorks general manager. “We are also looking forward to working closely with local businesses to assist local residents.”
