Job Services Australia Services

Job seekers registered with MatchWorks, will be:

  • Provided with job vacancy information and job search facilities
  • Advised on job search techniques, career options, employment, training programs and other services
  • Given feedback on job interviews arranged for you

 

Subject to your needs and eligibility, MatchWorks may also provide:

  • Help with access to employment and training programs, counselling, work experience and other services
  • More intensive job search activities and work preparation with fortnightly contact to help you into a job
  • Interpreter services, travel assistance (if you are referred to a job interview) and other services
  • Support while you are settling into your new job.

What is the  MatchWorks disability employment program?

This program is a free service created to assist people with a disability into work and build relationships with their new employers.

Who is eligible for the program?

Anyone who has a disability.

What assistance will I receive from MatchWorks?

Not only will you have access to a vast number of employers and vacancies but MatchWorks’ approachable staff offer advice and tips on interview preparation, confidence and self- esteem building activities and prepare professional resumes and job applications.
MatchWorks can also help you become more job ready by assisting you through various training courses.

What facilities will be made available to me?

In all MatchWorks sites job seekers have access to computers, internet, phone, fax, photocopier and newspapers. Plus the expert team at MatchWorks are always on hand to give you one on one support whilst you look for employment.
