ARCsupports DADS

Karingal’s ARCsupport is helping establish a regional support network for male carers and fathers of people with acquired brain injury, called DADS.
ARCsupport manager, Jacqui Pierce said DADS started in Queensland as a support group for dads of people with disabilities but had since broadened its membership to provide peer support by men, for men, to all male carers, including husbands, grandfathers, brothers and uncles of people with disabilities and health issues.
