Winter a time for adventure

Karingal Adventure Based Learning Experience (KABLE) participants had their winter woollies out for a trip to the snow earlier this month.
KABLE offers outdoor experiences with an emphasis on personal development, confidence, and team work.
After success with both a day trip and four-day camp to the snow last year, everyone enjoyed another snow-filled day at Lake Mountain on August 12.
The four-day camp to Mt Baw Baw will start on August 23 and will include tobogganing, snow man building, skiing and other activities.
"It gives everyone an opportunity to get out and about in an environment that’s really different," Sarah Quick-Scarlett from KABLE said.
"KABLE is all about fun, friendly programs in all different environments which cater for all different abilities.
"Most Karingal participants don’t get a chance to enjoy the snow, so this is a great trip for everyone."
