Productivity Commission recommends NDIS

The Productivity Commission released its draft report into the National Disability Insurance Scheme at the end of February, recommending the Federal Government consider introducing the scheme.
Karingal has been hosting forums about the Productivity Commission’s report throughout Geelong, the south west region and Mornington to explain to people how vital it is to respond to the report.
Karingal’s NDIS staff also took the opportunity to promote the campaign at Geelong’s MatchWorks Pako Festa in late February and at Karingal Karnivale in March, encouraging festival goers to sign up as NDIS supporters.
The NDIS has the potential to revolutionise disability services, but the campaign needs your ongoing support.
