NDIS campaign continues to gain great support

Karingal continues to promote the Every Australian Counts (EAC) Campaign in support of a National Disability Insurance Scheme.
The campaign is building momentum and supporter numbers continue to grow. Over 22,000 people and organisations have now registered their support for the national campaign.
On May 11 more than 50 people who attended the Karingal Volunteers Presentation evening signed up as supporters of the campaign.
An EAC information booth was set-up at the BacLinks Workplace Big Day Out on May 19 to introduce the campaign to workplace volunteers from the business sector.
Karingal staff are now including a link to the Every Australia Counts web-site on their signature line with every email they send, building awareness within Karingal networks and beyond.
Karingal NDIS co-ordinator, Jacqui Pierce, presented to more than 30 members of the Barwon Occupational Therapy Network in early May and continues to seek opportunities to present information about the campaign to other organisations in the region.
Jacqui is happy to speak at any club or group meeting such as Rotary, Church, Lions, Probus, sporting, support groups, etc on this very important campaign.
