MatchWorks shines at Pako Festa
19 April 2010
The MatchWorks Pako Festa was another resounding success in February with many Karingal staff and participants volunteering to be a part of the parade.
Pako Festa is the largest free celebration of cultural diversity in Australia.
For more than 25 years it has attracted scores of people from across the community including professional performers, community groups, schools, businesses, street traders and artists from all walks of life.
This year was no different with the MatchWorks crew keeping the streets lined with people happy throughout the parade giving out goodies of all kinds from frisbees and bubbles to lollies, pens and balloons.
Participate staff and volunteer did an excellent job working at the Karingal Café on the day. Not only did they put in a top effort, but are part of the everyday life of Pakington Street.
