Konnections dance to celebrate IDoPwD

The All Abilities Day Dinner Dance was one of three events Konnections took part in to celebrate the International Day of People with Disability.
Karingal’s Mornington Peninsula branch put a lot of work into organising the event, which was attended by more than 150 people on November 5 at the Rosebud Italian Social Club.
Steering Committee member Dee Davey said the event was a great success and was attended by local Councillor Bill Goodrem and his wife.
The night included a two-course meal, African drumming and DJ Tony.
“There was a lot of dancing, giggling and partying by all.
Everyone who walked or wheeled through the door received free give-aways,” Dee said.
Konnections also took part in an art exhibition and a community inclusion sports day to recognise the International Day of People with Disability, which was on December 3.
