Kommercial wraps thousands of gifts for Christmas

DPM Industries is one of Kommercial’s best customers – providing packaging work at both Easter and Christmas.
This year proved particularly busy with staff put to the staggering task of packaging more than 120,000 Christmas packages that were distributed to K-Mart and Coles.
Kommercial – Packaging Production Co-ordinator Neil Taylor said besides the order being large, timing was also critical and all staff managed to exceed expectations.
“We were locked into delivering the goods both on time and at a high quality standard,” he said.
“The units themselves involved quite complex assembling. In all instances, we had to first create packages from either acetate and cardboard flat packs, and then pack goods into the packages. We had five different final packages.
“The crew did an excellent job and beat the delivery deadline by ten days - the team effort was outstanding.”
