Keen supporters at All Abilities Netball
11 November 2010
The Geelong Football League (GFL) Access for All Abilities Netball Competition proved a great success with more than 200 people packing The Arena to watch Bell Post Hill and Grovedale go head to head for the title.
Bell Post Hill took out the grand final on September 12, in what was a tight game with five goals to three.
The competition was a great overall success with organisers and sponsors enjoying growing support for the competition where people with disabilities play a mainstream sport.
They expect participant numbers to increase next season when the competition will be re-named The All Abilities Karingal Cup.
The competition is organised by Karingal and Leisure Networks with 63 Degrees and Alcoa joining this year to sponsor the event.
