Jenna enjoys scooting with independence

Jenna Bailey is now enjoying shopping on her own and a whole lot more after she got her new scooter.
The Konnections participant said her cerebral palsy made walking long distances challenging, but the scooter, acquired through the Konnections op-shop, had changed her life.
With a bit of maintenance and some practice, Jenna was well on her way, no longer relying on a wheelchair.
“The scooter is awesome. It gives me more independence and encourages me to work harder to learn how to use the scooter well,” Jenna, 24, said.
“So eventually I can go to the shops without supervision. It feels great because I don’t have to rely on people pushing me all the time.
“I would like to thank Robyn Coslovich for giving me this fantastic opportunity for independence and all the staff at Frankston Konnections for supporting me with this wonderful experience.”
