PROJECTS AND PARTNERSHIPS COORDINATOR - PORTLAND

BacLinks (Business and Community Links) is an exciting, innovative program that aims to ultimately build strength in the local community by managing mutually beneficial relationships between the business and community sectors. We assist local businesses to drive community development projects and provide support to organisations in need.

 

Karingal’s Business and Community Links branch (BacLinks) is seeking an energetic, dedicated and experienced project and customer relations professional to coordinate the BacLinks program for Portland Aluminium and partners in the wider region.

 

Based at Portland Aluminium and reporting to the BacLinks Manager (Geelong based), the successful applicant will require high level organisational skills and demonstrated ability to work autonomously.

 

The objective of the role is to build strength in the local community by managing mutually beneficial relationships and links between the business and community sectors. Key responsibilities of this dynamic role include:

 

§         Maintaining and growing BacLinks memberships and partnerships

§         Planning and coordinating community projects and events

§         Event sponsorship and publicity

 

We are looking for someone who can work autonomously, with excellent verbal and written communication and experience in marketing/events. Please see below for position description detailing key selection criteria.
