Brain Injury Awareness Week 2011
August 15 - 21
ARCsupport will be hosting a free expo providing information about services and supports for individuals with a brain injury on Monday August 15.
The expo will be held at the State Government Offices on the corner of Fenwick and Little Malop Streets, Geelong from 9am – 4pm. The event is part of Brain Injury Awareness Week, which runs from August 15 – 21. Click here to download the flyer.
ARCsupport Manager Jacqui Pierce said it wasn’t only the injured person who faced challenges but also their families, friends and carers. “BIA week will be a one-stop-shop for anyone seeking information about anything brain-injury - from employment services to respite,” she said. “I strongly encourage anyone who may have a brain injury, or know someone with a brain injury, to pop in sometime during the day.”
