Moving out of home a new beginning for Amanda

From yoga to surfing, Amanda Morphy has discovered a new sense of self since moving out of home.

The 39-year-old has always wanted to move out of home and have her own place. Amanda moved into a unit in East Geelong in August last year. The transition from living with her parents in her family home to living independently in one of Karingal's McIntyre units was helped by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which provided Amanda with funding arrangements to fulfill her goal.

Feathers fly at M~M2014 launch

Sporting an impressive set of wings made for the inaugural M~M event in 2009, Darryn set the scene for the unique event known as Geelong's 24 hour extreme Arts Walk alongside Parkour experts and a selection of community representatives.
